OUR LEGACY

Built from Gratitude. Carried Forward with Purpose.

The story of CVCO begins not with a business plan, but with a turning point — one shaped by struggle, surrender, and a deep desire to give back.

Years ago, a man walked through the doors of recovery for what felt like the last time. Not with grand expectations, but with a quiet hope that maybe — just maybe — this time it would stick. And it did. Through structure, community, and the time-tested process of the 12 Steps, he found something worth holding onto. And in time, something worth building.

In 2008, he opened a single sober home with a simple goal: to create a safe, stable environment where others could find what he had been given — not just sobriety, but support, purpose, and a new way of life.

That one house became two. Then five. Then over thirty, stretching across 6 different states, with Arizona and Colorado being the flagships of the program. But the real legacy isn’t in the number of homes — it’s in the number of lives reclaimed. Families reunited. Milestones achieved. Futures reimagined.

What he built was never about profit. It was about people. It was about creating space for brokenness and healing to coexist — and for transformation to take root in everyday moments.

And now the torch has been passed, and the opportunity for the light to be carried forward by the next generation who experienced the same healing and share the original vision. At CVCO, we’re proud to carry forward this legacy. Rooted in the same principles of service, structure, and support, we remain committed to providing more than a place to stay — we offer direction, dignity, and a path forward.

We don’t promise miracles.

We offer something better: a chance to begin again.
