What is sober living in Aurora?
CVCO is a 12-step-based program focused on long-term recovery built around the foundations and principles of the 12 steps of any anonymous program. Our program focuses on building the necessary roots in recovery, providing the tools individuals may need, while also simultaneously focusing on getting individuals to once again become productive and positive members of society.
We want our individuals looking for jobs and working as soon as possible, so they can start blending the realities of the real world with their new found life in recovery. Creating a routine within our program that allows both recovery and real life to coexist, while providing the structure and accountability that is needed in early recovery. This creates a positive environment that allows residents to transition into their own living situations once they feel comfortable.

The Carla Vista Colorado history.
Carla Vista Colorado comes from a legacy that was created over 17 years ago; it's not so much about what is different as it is about time-tested. The knowledge gained, the situations handled over so many years, and the simple fact that both owners of CVCO are direct beneficiaries of the original Carla Vista program is what I believe sets us apart.
This is real life for everyone involved, as we work directly within the houses and work through our own struggles as a part of the very community we continue to foster and build. We work closely with every individual who comes in to better understand their needs and hopes for what this opportunity looks like for them.
From resume building, bus passes, to help with anything a resident may need. We pride ourselves on going further for our people to push them to once again become those productive members of society we all deep down want to be.
What is included in the program?
Carla Vista Colorado is a traditional sober living where structure, accountability, and the blueprint for recovery are laid out very clearly for each individual coming in. Residents are provided with a safe space to begin or further their recovery without the pressures an old living situation may sometimes present. All homes are equipped with all necessities an individual would need to live on their own. CVCO does not provide food, transportation, or personal hygiene products.
