RECOVERY.
WITH DIRECTION.

CARLA VISTA COLORADO

At CVCO, we don’t promise miracles.
We offer something far more powerful: structure, support, and a community rooted in truth.

Our homes are built on the belief that recovery is not a performance — it’s a process. And that no one walks that path alone.

We believe that healing happens in community — and that recovery isn’t just about sobriety. It’s about safety, structure, and support from people who’ve walked the road themselves.

Guided by the time-tested foundation of the 12 Steps — and free from religious dogma or judgment — we invite our residents into a space of personal responsibility, emotional safety, and deep transformation.

We don’t fix people.

We simply help hold the compass while they remember where they were headed. We don’t erase the past, we show others how to carry it differently - with clarity, grace, and most of all purpose.

Built from Gratitude. Carried Forward with Purpose.

OUR LEGACY

CVCO was born from gratitude.
What began as one man’s journey to give back has grown into a community built on truth, support, and second chances.

Founded in 2008, the original Carla Vista home was created to offer more than a roof — it offered a path. Today, we carry that legacy forward through every resident we serve. Our roots are in the 12 Steps, but our doors are open to anyone ready to begin again.

At CVCO, we’re proud to carry forward this legacy. Rooted in the same principles of service, structure, and support, we remain committed to providing more than a place to stay — we offer direction, dignity, and a path forward.

We don’t promise miracles.
We offer something better: a chance to begin again.

Years ago, a man walked through the doors of recovery for what felt like the last time. Not with grand expectations, but with a quiet hope that maybe — just maybe — this time it would stick. And it did. Through structure, community, and the time-tested process of the 12 Steps, he found something worth holding onto. And in time, something worth building.

VALUES: OUR TRUE NORTH

Value:
What It Means Here

Integrity
We do what we say. We honor the process — even when no one is watching.

Structure
We believe freedom is found inside healthy boundaries.

Service
We give back. Not to be heroes, but because someone once did the same for us.

Growth
Progress, not perfection. One step at a time.

Resilience
We’ve been broken. We chose to rebuild.

Inclusivity
All are welcome — no matter your beliefs, background, or starting point.

Accountability
We own our choices — and we support others in owning theirs.

Community
Connection saves lives. We create a space where people belong before they believe.

Humility
We don’t have all the answers. But we’re committed to asking better questions.

Legacy
We carry forward the lessons and principles that helped save our own lives.
